RISING ABOVE
What began as a design platform intended to press theoretical limits quickly evolved into a series of products that defy existing laws of conventional performance in the cable industry.Â
When applied as a system, Omega-X signal cables deliver a weightless coherence and thunderous authority that rise above all previous expectations for the cable category at any price. Their transformative performance is owed to advanced applications of Shunyata Research's proprietary TAPc technology. This technology eliminates a form of EMI field distortion left completely unaddressed in traditional cable designs. Â
Omega-X cables break through all performance barriers to deliver the full potential locked within the world’s most exotic music systems.

GROUNDBREAKING TECHNOLOGY
TAP (Transverse Axial Polarizer) is a patent-pending technology developed by Shunyata Research to enhance the performance of its reference signal cables. The evolution of this technology has led to the creation of TAPc, a groundbreaking advancement that significantly reduces the size of the modules, enabling their application across a broader range of products, including power distributors, power cords, interconnects, digital cables and speaker cables.
The sonic results of TAPc technology include a profound drop in perceived noise floor, effortlessly portrayed dynamics, and an exceptional rendering of timing and coherency. These benefits are unique to TAPc, setting it apart from any competing product or technology. Even to an untrained ear, the effects of TAPc are immediately apparent and consistently repeatable across various components and systems. Essentially, the TAPc modules act as force multipliers, elevating the listening experience to levels many would not have thought possible.
‌Ohno wire, also called ‌PSOCC (Pure Silver Ohno Continuous Cast) was invented in 1986 by professor Atsumi ‌Ohno of the Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan. Standard wire is created by an extrusion process that pulls a rod of cold metal through a small orifice which creates multiple crystalline boundaries. By contrast, ‌‌Ohno wire is made by a process using heated molds that cast a wire to form a single crystalline structure. ‌‌Ohno wire is well known for its exceptionally pure, grain-free sonic qualities.
‌ΞTRON® is a technology developed by Shunyata Research that prevents dielectric absorption and re-radiation in signal transmission. It requires a special type of conductor that has two signal paths and an electric field compensation circuit that creates a cancellation signal that prevents the insulation from developing a charge. ‌ΞTRON® cables preserve the integrity of the source signal even when using very long runs of cable.

KPIP v2™ Shunyata Research’s proprietary Kinetic Phase Inversion Process includes four days of continuous KPIP v2™ processing which refines conductor metals at the atomic level. This dramatically reduces burn-in time and significantly improves sonic performance, delivering a relaxed and life-like presentation. When compared to the original process, KPIP v2™ represents a dramatic performance upgrade on par with a component-level upgrade.
Platinum-plated connectors deliver exceptional fidelity and tonal purity, offering a smooth, natural presentation with enhanced resolution. Fine detail emerges effortlessly, without added edge or glare, while clarity, contrast, and dimensionality are preserved across the full dynamic range of the system.
Fluorocarbon dielectrics are usually only found in wire used in the aerospace industry, satellites and only the most expensive audiophile cabling. It has special electrical characteristics; very low dielectric absorption, high dielectric strength and exceptional heat resistance.  When used in audio and power cables is reduces the perception of dynamic compression and it improves sonic low-level resolution and clarity.
Crystal clear transient detail.
