Alpha-X Power Cords and Signal Cables

The signal cables arrived on Saturday and it’s been interesting trying to fathom them out. Like others have mentioned on forums what struck me immediately was the bass – there just seemed so much more of it and to a lower level. Having given it more time I realize although it sounds deeper and more pronounced it isn’t. It is as though a veil has been lifted and it is way more defined within generally blacker blacks around all instruments. Drum sets have never before sounded like the real thing until now – there is way more control. However, the other side of the coin is that female vocalists in a jazz setting come across more rhythmical, emotional and realistic creating an almost nightclub environment. So, great definition and blackness between the notes in rock but able to convey the emotion embedded in more vocal recordings- quite a feat – in a word, lifelike.

I remember when I first heard a single Alpha v2 power cord. I felt the top end (cymbals etc) had been exaggerated but then realized a veil had been lifted when I added more of them. I feel the same but more so, and across the full audio spectrum with Alpha-X power cords and signal cables!

Many thanks for your help and the generosity of your time.
