The Omega is a stunning achievement – amazing musical performance, combining drastic reduction in USB digital grunge with tremendous transparency and resolution and musicality. In order to fully realize the experience of the new Omega I needed to somewhat retune my system.
As great as they are, these improvements are actually relative to the Sigma, which was my previous USB cable. I think the Omega sonic performance improvement is much greater than the improvement achieved by the Sigma, which replaced a Revelation Audio cryo-silver USB. In toto, the Omega is a quantum jump in USB cable performance and very well worth the high cost – it has amounted to a transformation for my system.
